Reporting Trip to Taipei 2020

The School organised a reporting trip to Taipei from 9-12 January 2020. Led by Ms. Eva Chan, Ms. Emily Owen and Mr. Leung Ho Yiu, 27 students from two undergraduate programmes including four practicums and one taught postgraduate programme participated in the reporting trip to cover the major elections there.

Students from U-Beat breaking news split into two teams: one team stayed in Taipei to cover the election news; the other went to Kaohsiung. Other practicum students also worked around the clock to do street interviews in Taipei and try to get more first-hand stories for their reports.
